Does it work in the north and the south?
Yes. According to the Seyyah Mobile Northern Cyprus page, the KKTC eSIM uses a local network in Northern Cyprus and three local networks in the south (Republic of Cyprus). The same eSIM works on both sides of the island and keeps working when you cross the Green Line, so you do not need a second eSIM.

How to set up
- Check that your phone supports eSIM (use the compatibility checker on the plan page)
- Choose the Northern Cyprus (KKTC) plan and pay.
- Install the eSIM before you travel, while on Wi-Fi, following the guide: installation guide
- On arrival, select the eSIM line for mobile internet in your phone settings and allow roaming on that line.
When a local SIM makes sense
- You are staying for months (for example as a student or resident) and need a local phone number for calls, banks or deliveries.
- Your phone does not support eSIM.
